This is actually a true story. it's 100% accurate. :|

I do indeed have rather big feet for someone my size.... (5'1"/158cm) OTL
The friendly drunk person just stared at me smiling for a minute before pointing that out.

My shoe size is 40 in Germany, which is according to google, size 9 for women in the US... hope that's correct!
_{To be fair, my converse were a size bigger. and I was wearing skinny jeans which doesn't help much. :|}

Yeah I'm like a size 8, 8 1/2 depending on the shoe. Size 9 is a bit larger but it's not that bit of a deal. Still shoulda punched the guy or something. Make him dunk his head.

Have you seen a man's shoe in size 13? I have. It's a frickin' doorstop for heaven's sake! So yeah, you're good.
