...from the Kingkiller Chronicle by Patrick Rothfuss.

When I searched for fanart of the books, I wasn't really happy with what I found, so I doodled these for myself. (not that mine's a better result, but hey, I tried.) Will probably doodle more sometime.

I posted these on Tumblr originally, and suddenly a number of my friends turned out to be huge fans, so I decided to upload it here too. If you haven't read it, I recommend you do, if you like good fantasy books that don't rely on dragons and elves to be interesting. :3

"Lutist Kvothe's" clothes impress me. Distinctly medieval (sp?), but different enough to be probable and fancy looking.

I just finished reading the first book! It was sooooooooooooooooooo good! I can really appreciate these drawings a lot more then I did before. Haha I can't wait to read the second book, and the third when it comes out! XD
