[note:] Apparently in America, the boys name Adrian is also used for girls. (I didn’t know that!) So sorry if it’s not as funny to Americans. :C

Happy (super) belated birthday, Fyorl ! My bestest buddy.
As always, based on a true story. :D

Have you ever had this thing happen? (I've only crushed a few expectations myself...!)

It's usually in how you spell it. "Adrian" is the masculine way to spell it. "Adrienne" is the feminine way to spell it. Like Daniel and Danielle
But I found it funny :giggle:

I knew a girl Adrian. She could never get her hands on one of those personalized name necklaces that had her name spelled right.

I feel her pain. Do you know how difficult it is to find an "Alexandria" or an "Andria"?

Adrian? Wait, like a boy's name?

What about Rocky's wife?

Or is he gay (not in a negative sense) and hoping it was from a guy?

This one confused me.

I dunno, I think the US is the biggest culprit of just changing it up so much. There IS a female version of the same name (Adrienne, Adriana), but apparently they just wanna be unique and use the male version... (ignoring the grammar of the name's original languages etc)
I mean, I don't care I guess. Personally I'd never name my children that way though.

Adrianne can be a girl's name, but I've personally never heard of a girl with similar name spelling it as "Adrian". Though I think the female character from the film Rocky had her name spelled that way.
