[note:] Apparently in America, the boys name Adrian is also used for girls. (I didn’t know that!) So sorry if it’s not as funny to Americans. :C

Happy (super) belated birthday, Fyorl ! My bestest buddy.
As always, based on a true story. :D

Have you ever had this thing happen? (I've only crushed a few expectations myself...!)

Actually when the name Adrian is with a girl, the parents name their child Adrianna. I should know my name is Adrian.

That's cool! Just curious but how many times have you come across some spooky scary spider or something over there? Lots of people seem to think Australia is pretty dangerous. (.<. Actually it probably is... But I just wanna know from a local's perspective.)

Well, to be honest.. I don't find spiders scary since I've grown up around them!

But..In one day..I would say around..uh 2-3 times a day? That's if you're in QLD because in WA, I don't see that many spiders only daddy long legs and the often small jumping spider.

That's true, xD... But I'm not so sure that's a good thing given the amount of venomous spiders over there apparently, having a distinct fear over something is actually very helpful... Because it gives you an idea of what to touch and what not to touch.

I see, thank you for the answer! ^.^

No problem. I still know what spiders are venomous and what are not. I just have no fear towards spiders that much.

lately America has been on a 'what's in a name?' kick and all names I guess apply to girls. Not so much with boys though...

Basically, a lot of people in the U.S. just like giving their kids as weird a name as possible. A friend of mine liked to tell everybody about a girl she knew named La-Ah.

Pronounced "Lah-DASH-Uh..." No, I disagree!

That's odd... I just herd someone I play online with tell me this same exact thing last week.  And they talked as if they knew this girl.  Can't be the same person... or is this just a common story going around?

Maybe it is just a common story going around and I accidentally removed a level of association i.e. maybe it wasn't actually her friend, not her, or maybe it was from a blog or even just a popular rumor. I heard it from her like 7 or 8 years ago, so I'm actually a bit hazy on the details. Or maybe I do remember the details exactly right and it's just a coincidence. Six degrees of separation and all that.  I should probably avoid repeating things that when I can't 100% remember the source, though.

At any rate, we don't need poorly substantiated anecdotes to know that Kim Kardashian literally gave her firstborn a pun as a name. On purpose.

I know right?
like north west?
they were probably like "hahahha.....get it north and west .....hahahahaha....we are sooo smart and punny"
that name is going to sound sooo dumb in ten years, I feel sorry for the kid.

Something funny enough

And I'm not joking when I say this:
This isn't a name that happened in America or the US or anything,
but once a person wanted to name their kid

"Brfxxccxxmnpcccclllmmnprxvclmnckssqlbb11116."
Pronounced "Albin" I think. :stare:
