Last week (22nd to 25th) there was the Comic Salon in Erlangen which I attended for the first time. C:

It was awesome, really!
I think what I liked most was being surrounded by people who are very open minded about comics as literature, styles and the art behind it. The majority of the visitors were middle-aged to old men. xD People tipped a lot and I could tell they appreciated my art a lot. some of them had huge art-collections and came back for my drawings each day. :3

I saw so many wonderful artists (I met Mario Alberti!) and felt extremely inspired. Manga and Anime had started to bore me these days, not much on the german market seems interesting enough. It was very refreshing.
There also was a chinese Manhua exhibition and it blew my mind. Those chinese artists made me feel like a toddler in the arts. haha x___x
So much to learn.

I also met some dA folk such as and >:3 I got plenty of useful tips and had many interesting conversations. Thanks guys!

And of course met some friends such as Landrömer (Kauboi und Kaktus [link] ) some merchant friends (Sammlerecke [link] ) and Tokyopop Germany folks ([link] ). :3

Oh, and I was wearing my black Furisode on saturday. If I find some pictures online I will link and share. ^w^
I was photographed a number of times, it was very nice.



Now that I have returned, I must pack again though.
It is the time of the year where I escape german madness to go visit my delishus dah-ling muffincakes . 8D (LOLOL)
This is going to be my first time in Texas, so I'm quite excited!
I have absolutely no idea what to expect. haha.
Anyways, perhaps I'll walk by some of you guys in Dallas. x) I'll be there from may 30th to June 17th. w00t!



ah! on a side note, I intend to sell a number of old original art for cheap very soon. xD;; cheers!
